In 2024, four RINK Hockey Academy student-athletes were auto-protected by four different MJHL franchises, then 15 other players were taken anywhere from the 1st to the 89th overall picks in the MJHL Draft.

The 2024 WHL Draft was nothing short of successful for the RINK Hockey Academy and its players. 8 RHA Winnipeg student-athletes were selected by 6 different WHL teams across Western Canada and the American Pacific Northwest. 

This past fall, the Western Hockey League's Red Deer Rebels signed RINK U-18 Defenceman Tate Dolinsky at their annual black and white camp. And according to Dolinsky's head coach Rob Smith, if all pans out as he expects, the young, strong skating blueliner will likely find himself in Red Deer next season.

For first-year head coach Ed Mauro of RINK Hockey Academy’s Female U-18 Prep team, the club’s MVP thus far has been Grade 9 forward Rowyn Street. Yes, you read that right; a first-year player has been the top player on a U-18 team - not just the top rookie, but the top player outright.

RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg's new U15 and U17 Prep teams approved for CSSHL play in the 2024-25 season.

As part of this exciting announcement, RINK Hockey Academy will be introducing a team at the U15 and U17 level. This addition will allow more hockey players the ability to take part in the prep school experience and enables them to stay within our academy uninterrupted until they move on to the next stage in their academic and hockey career.
