For any 14 yr. old, the hockey season leading up to the Western Hockey League (WHL) Prospects Draft can be both exciting and nerve racking at the same time.

The recruiting process for young female hockey players can be puzzling and overwhelming, but many families and athletes alike have successfully been through the process.

April 29th, 2022, RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg hosted their annual U15 Evaluation Camp seeing 50 2008/2009 born players and goalies coming from all around Winnipeg and Manitoba to compete against one another.

“He also connects really well with the team, being younger and having recently played, the boys look up to him and respect him. His knowledge for the game and how he can articulate to the boys is an asset as sometimes I may over-complicate the explanation. He can help the players break down what we want. This past month all RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg teams joined up with Buddy Check for Jesse, in awareness for mental health. 

The RINK Hockey Academy is pleased to announce that 38 student athletes were recognized for achieving academic accomplishments throughout the 2019-2020 school year at Shaftesbury High School.

On September 30th, 2020 The RINK Hockey Academy unveiled their brand new jerseys the team will wear in the 2020-21 CSSHL season.
