Travis Mason

With over 30 years of involvement in the game, Travis brings a lifetime of experience and passion to the rink. Travis has been deeply committed to the development of the game off the ice as well, serving in a variety of leadership roles. From Development Coordinator to President within Eastman Minor Hockey Assoociation, Travis has proudly contributed to building programs and supporting coaches and players alike. Currently, he serves as the Development Coordinator on our regional board and sit on the Development Council Board with Hockey Manitoba, where he continues to advocate for player and coach development at every level.

His coaching philosophy is centered on growth both on and off the ice. While championships are a welcome reward, Travis doesn’t measure a season by the banners we hang. To him, success is reflected in how much a player has grown, how they’ve developed their skills, and whether he has been able to make a meaningful impact in their journey. It’s about connection, mentorship, and the lasting relationships formed through the game.

For Travis, there’s no greater reward than running into a former player who stops to share a story, a smile, or an update on life. That’s when you know you’ve made a difference - and that’s what coaching is truly about.
