Brenley Anderson

Assistant Coach | U18 Female Prep

Brenley grew up in Rainy River, ON. Rainy River, however, did not have a hockey program, so she had to cross the river to play hockey in Minnesota. Brenley played high school hockey for the Lake of the Woods Bears in Baudette, MN from grade 7-12. After high school, she played two years at Rainy River Community College (ACHA Div 2) in International Falls, MN, where she was an assistant captain her first year and led the team as captain her second year. They finished runner up at Nationals in 09/10 and then won Nationals the following year. Brenley made the all-tournament team both years and was also named first team All-American for two years. In the 10/11 season, Brenley led the league in goals and points. She was inducted into the Rainy River Community College Hall of Fame in 2024.

After her two-year college experience, Brenley moved on to play three years with the University of Manitoba while obtaining her Bachelor of Kinesiology. Brenley has been coaching minor hockey since 2014, and a head coach and assistant coach at the U13, U15, and U18 AA levels. Brenley recently completed her High Performance 1 Hockey Canada Certification and is currently in her third year as assistant coach with the RHA U18 Female program.
