Born in Oak Bluff, Manitoba, Tess began her hockey career at seven years old.  Her minor hockey days were spent playing boys hockey until she was 15 and afterwards, Balmoral Hall’s Prep hockey program where she captained the team in her senior year.  From there, Tess was a member of U18 Team Manitoba and was invited to Team Canada’s U18 invitational camps.  After her high school career, Tess got recruited by Bemidji State University (NCAA DI).  The WCHA Scholar-Athlete received a full-ride scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science.  Upon graduation, Tess played professionally overseas in Sweden where she led the team in points before returning home to enroll herself into further education for massage therapy.  Her coaching career started in 2018 in the U18 AAA MFHL and now continues into the RINK Hockey Academy since 2019.  Her dual roles of Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) and assistant coach for the Female Prep U18 RHA program brings an extensive and valuable asset to the RINK.
